Brazil's Neymar celebrates after scoring his first of two goals against Cameroon Reuters

Neymar had a brilliant showing today against Cameroon, scoring two goals and sending his team to the knockout rounds atop their group. To add to the magic, his second goal was the 100th scored in this year's tournament. Brazil's World Cup, which has been touted as one of the best of all time, has already produced more group stage goals than four years ago in South Africa.

Neymar leads all goal scorers with four goals, and is trailed by a slew of players who have three. The 22-year-old opened his account against Cameroon with a simple goal in the 17th minute and doubled his tally in the 34th minute, sending Cameroon's keeper the wrong way. The starlet will look to add to his campaign total and vie for the Golden Boot in Brazil's next match against Chile on Saturday, June 28.

Courtesy of ESPNFC, watch the video below of the 100th goal of the World Cup Tournament. Ironically, the first goal of the tournament was an own goal by Marcelo, but the first REAL goal of the tournament was by Neymar in that same match. With Neymar being the poster boy for the whole country in Brazil, it's only fitting he book ends the first legitimate goal of the tournament, with the 100th. Enjoy.
