Brad Pitt and Kanye West’s newfound bromance has hit new heights with rumors linking the two even further than simply hanging out. The recent appearance of the “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” actor in the rapper’s famous Sunday Services has generated a lot of buzz on their closeness.
A recent report furthers this notion, implying that Pitt is helping out in Yeezy’s career. According to popular American celebrity gossip magazine Life & Style, the “I Love It” singer is extending his artistic repertoire to include acting.
After conquering the music world with his numerous hits, West allegedly approached his award-winning actor friend for help into breaking the mold in his acting career.
“Kanye’s conquered the world of music and fashion, and now he’s set his sights on taking over Hollywood,” Life & Style’s source claimed. “And with Brad on board, he’s hoping it won’t be long until he lands a role in a big franchise like Star Wars.”
West is no stranger to being on screen, boasting multiple appearances in television shows and music videos, as well as a brief cameo stint in Anchorman 2. These, however, are reportedly not fulfilling for the world-renowned rapper and won’t be enough to reach his dream of fetching an Oscar.
The “Ad Astra” lead star has previously been reported to be a big fan of West. With his new friend looking to further his career in acting, Pitt “offered to help Kanye run lines and flip through scripts.”
“Brad really admires Kanye’s work and is more than willing to help out his new pal,” the source added. “Kanye’s convinced he could even win an Oscar one day and is determined to make it happen.”
Unfortunately, popular celebrity gossip fact-checking website Gossip Cop has reason to believe that Life & Style’s “source” is entirely made up. Pitt and West have indeed been getting into talks ever since his appearance at the Sunday Services, but their talks have been more centered on fatherhood rather than career movement.
Gossip Cop also approached Pitt’s representative, who clarified that the magazine’s claims are entirely off course. The actor does hold West in high regard, showering the rapper with compliments in recent interviews. However, acting may not be on their list of things to talk about anytime soon.
