A handful of A-listers are reportedly planning on quitting Hollywood for good. Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lawrence allegedly have different reasons as to why they no longer want to be part of the industry.

Julia Roberts

Weeks ago, a tabloid claimed that Roberts no longer wants to pursue her successful acting career because she wants to focus on saving her marriage to Danny Moder. The couple is reportedly planning on adopting a child because Roberts believes that their love for kids is one of the things that they have in common.

But according to rumor-debunking site Gossip Cop, this cannot be the case, and for very obvious reasons. During a previous interview, Roberts said that she’s done having children.

The publication also said that Roberts and Moder are not having problems with their marriage. On her Instagram account, photos and mentions about the actress’ husband have been very common.

In July, the tabloid also claimed that Angelina Jolie’s ex-husband is going to quit Hollywood so that he could become a full-time beekeeper. The statement came after the “Ad Astra” told GQ Australia that he’s taking a step back from acting so that he could focus more on producing films.

Pitt’s statement was taken out of context by the tabloid. The dad of six made it clear that he will only be setting aside his acting career, but he will not be bidding the industry goodbye for good.

Jennifer Lawrence

Earlier this year, one publication said that Lawrence is quitting Hollywood for her fiancé, Cooke Maroney. An unnamed source said that the actress wants to focus on her wedding planning.

But just three months after the rumors circulated, Lawrence started filming for her upcoming project. This means that she’s still very much a part of the industry.

Ben Affleck

Another tabloid also said that Affleck will be moving to a farm in upstate New York. And due to this alleged move, Jennifer Garner’s ex-husband can no longer pursue acting gigs.

But Gossip Cop pointed out that this isn’t the case either. Since the rumors circulated, Affleck appeared on “Triple Frontier.” He also has seven projects lined up.
