The Boston bombing suspects have be identified as Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, of Massachusetts. Both men were allegedly born in Kyrgyzstan and later moved to a Chechen area of Russia called Makhachkala.

During a debacle whose specifics are still developing, one of the Boston bombing suspects, Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed following a shootout with police. The suspected terrorist's younger brother, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, allegedly in an attempt to escape drove over Tamerlan with a car. After carjacking a motorist, Dzokhar Tsarnaev used the title of Boston marathon bomber to intimidate the man, who reported the incident after escaping at a gas station, confirming his alleged role in the bombing.

However, the pressure-cooker bombs detonated Monday were reportedly not the only bombs found by authorities. NBC News reported that Friday morning, a bomb was found in the Boston area, and later deactivated. The report did not specify whether the bomb referenced was one of the ones thrown at pursuing police during a car chase.

Late Thursday or earlier Friday, the Tsarnaevs engaged in a firefight with police. Responding to "a disturbance", Officer Sean Collier of the campus police force at MIT was killed. After Collier was killed, they led police on a four-mile car chase into Watertown, Mass., during which similar explosives were thrown at police as they continued to shoot at authorities.

The entire eastern Massachusetts area is on lockdown following the chain of events. MBTA, the transit authority for the Boston area has been shut down Friday, and Police Commissioner Ed Davis is asking everyone to stay inside.

After arriving in Watertown, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev temporarily eluded authorities, though around 8:40 a.m. Eastern, blood was found while police were searching for the lone living suspect in the Boston marathon bombing.

The "Boston Globe" reported that a home and an automobile in Watertown have been surrounded by Boston police.

Dzokhar's wrestling coach Larry Aaronson told CNN that prior to his alleged role in the attacks, there "was nothing in his character that [could show he was] capable of [this]."
