"The Blacklist" is returns tonight, and the suspense is back. Last week during the season pilot, we met Red, who predicted a kidnapping of a government officials daughter. This week, he is up to his old ways, and warns the FBI of an impending catastrophe, this time, he reveals the plot of an assassin called "The Freelancer."

In order to figure out "The Freelancer's" true plan, Red will go under cover with the help of Liz, the rookie FBI profiler, who is has a seemingly unknown obsession with. Liz and Red will work together to protect the assassin's intended target, Floriana Campo. In the midst of all of this professional chaos, Liz struggles with her personal relationship.

With her husband still recovering following a brutal home invasion, she is questioning not only her marriage but also her husband's true identity. In the series premiere, Liz found a mysterious book hidden under the floorboards in the home she shares with her husband, but the innocent schoolteacher may prove to be a master spy. Liz found a gun, large sums of cash, and multiple passports, after the discovery she is considers what she should do next.
