Nintendo has officially announced it is set to release a black version of the 3DS XL on August 11. This will be the fourth color added to the 3DS XL line for Nintendo. The other color options being: blue, red and pink.

The new black 3DS XL will be releasing alongside "Mario & Luigi: Dream Team." Nintendo description for the new "Mario" game is described as:

"One day in the Mushroom Kingdom, a letter arrives from a mysterious Dr. Snoozemore, inviting MarioTM, LuigiTM and Princess PeachTM to Pi'illo Island. A free vacation, from a complete stranger? What could possibly go wrong? Leap into the world of Luigi's dreams-where anything can happen-in this hilarious action RPG."

BLACK IS THE NEW BLACK FOR THE NINTENDO 3DS XL SYSTEM

The Nintendo 3DS XL system is about to get a little more formal. On Aug. 11, Nintendo is releasing a black version of the Nintendo 3DS XL hand-held system, joining the currently available range of colors: blue, red and pink.

The system is launching on the same day as Nintendo 3DS game Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, so fans that pick up a new black system or already own a Nintendo 3DS can also play the exciting new entry in the much-loved Mario & Luigi role-playing series. Aug. 11 will be a classy day to become a new Nintendo 3DS owner. Just make sure there is room in your tuxedo pocket or fancy purse!
