Natti Natasha is taking her Dominican power all the way from New York to Miami, where she is ready to take by storm the 2016 Billboard Latin Music Awards.

The 29-year-old singer from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, is ready to face the very busy yet fun week of the Billboard Latin Music Awards. Not only is she celebrating being a finalist at this year's awards ceremony, but she's also got a full plate during the conference week.

On April 25th, Natti kicks off her fun week as a special guest at the Más y Más Música Artist Showcase, where she will perform at Club E11Even in Downtown Miami. She's also expected to share her knowledge about the industry as part of The Divas Panel at the conference. Natti will join colleagues Ednita Nazario, Jackie Cruz and Paty Cantú on April 27. On Thursday, she will dazzle the crowds as part of the Latin Billboards awards show with the hopes of nabbing this year's tile of Hot Latin Songs – Female Artist of the Year

Natti, who receives the nod with artists such as Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, says it's an honor to be a finalist. "Girl... it feels great. It's a blessing, I feel like I already won," she told Latin Times in an exclusive interview. "It's another achievement, it's another step in my career. It's an achievement not only for me, but for Dominicans. I'm happy to represent Dominicans and women everywhere. I'm already a winner being next to these female who have worked so hard," she added.

Whether she wins or not, the songstress, who is currently promoting her single "Grind," says she loves being part of these star-studded awards shows. "These type of awards are a celebration! It means a lot to just see everyone else achieve more and more. I really like seeing the whole process, it's very interesting. And you get to dress up! I love the whole thing," she said. Natti's sophomore album is expected to release mid-2016.
