The Billboard Latin Music Awards, one of the most important and outstanding events in the Latin Music world, will have TV actress and host Gaby Espino, and Mexican singer and actor Pedro Fernández as hosts this year. The ceremony will be live from BankUnited Center at University of Miami and will air on Telemundo April 30, 2015.
Espino, born in Caracas, Venezuela, is one of Telemundo’s leading soap actresses. She is best known for her work in “Santa Diabla,” which broke audience records in the United States, and other soaps such as “Más sabe el diablo” and “Sin Vergüenza.” She has also hosted Telemundo’s youth award show, “Premios Tu Mundo,” since 2012.
Pedrito Fernández is a Mexican TV child star and singer. He is best known for his first on screen role at age 6 in “La niña de la mochila azul,” where he also sang. Although he is known for his Ranchero music career, he has been working in films and telenovelas for most of his life (recently, he was replaced by David Zepeda in “Hasta el fin del mundo”).
Daniela and Pedro will join forces to present other Latino celebrities during the ceremony. So far, some of the artists confirmed to perform are: Balvin, Carlos Vives and Daddy Yankee, as well as special honorees Roberto Carlos (who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award) and Carlos Santana (who’ll receive the Spirit of Hope Award).
