Beyonce has announced that she is teaming with HBO to present a new documentary film.
The "intimate and revealing" film will premiere on HBO on Feb. 13.
"Some of my favorite shows are on HBO, so I am excited that my film will be part of its bold programming, Beyonce reportedly said in a statement. "This film was so personal to me, it had to have the right home."
The film will be directed by the 16-time Grammy Award winning artist and "includes first-person footage shot by the singer on her laptop - provides 'raw, unprecedented access' to the superstar's life as a businesswoman, songwriter, actress, entrepreneur, wife and mother, People magazine reported.
"Everybody knows Beyoncé's music, but few know Beyoncé the person," Michael Lombardo, president of programming at HBO said in a statement. "Along with electrifying footage of Beyoncé onstage, this unique special looks beyond the glamour to reveal a vibrant, vulnerable, unforgettable woman."
Beyonce has directed and starred in several documentaries of her life. In 2010, she premiered "I Am ... World Tour,", in 2011 "Live at Roseland" MTV's "Year of 4".
Beyoncé will perform in the Pepsi Super Bowl XLVII halftime show on CBS at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013.
It appears that the new mom in back in the studio after more than a year since her last release in June 2011.
Beyonce gave birth to Blue Ivy in January.
