A teen girl sent a text message to a group chat about Jack Grealish just hours after she was allegedly raped by his teammate Benjamin Mendy. Then, she also texted the Manchester City footballer's co-accused Louis Saha Matturie asking for Grealish's phone number.
The Sun reported that the Chester Crown Court was told the complainant, Woman Ten, sweared she was raped twice by Mendy and Matturie in the same event. She was just 17 at the time and had attended a party at Mendy's Cheshire mansion in August last year. Former Villa star Grealish also attended the party.
The Court previously heard that the woman was allegedly raped at an event at the French footballer's home in Prestbury, Cheshire, on Aug. 23, 2021, wherein Grealish was also present. Lisa Wilding KC, defending Matturie, read several messages from the then-teen accuser sent to her friends after leaving the party. It included a message that referred to Grealish being so "sexy" in person.
Mirror reported that the text message continued, "he had been winking at you all night and telling you how beautiful you were, but you did not sleep with him because you are not easy but you were invited out with them all next week.” Wilding explained that the messages revealed how happy the teen was that morning and that she had a great night.
She said she had asked Matturie for Grealish's phone number so she could contact a young woman she had seen at the event with the English football player. Earlier, the court heard the rape accuser said she had been raped by Mendy in the office and trophy room at the house and by Matturie in the cinema room. Later, she was raped at his apartment near Manchester city center.
BBC reported that the prosecutors alleged Mendy was a predator who turned the pursuit of women for sex into a game. Matturie, Mendy's friend and fixer, was alleged to have the job of finding young women for sex.
Mendy has renounced seven counts of rape, one count of attempted rape, and a count of sexual assault against six young women. Likewise, Matturie denied six counts of rape and three counts of sexual assault against seven young women. The trial continues.
