Ben Affleck Pulled Over For Allegedly Driving On Shoulder Of LA Freeway

Ben Affleck was pulled over by a police officer last weekend for allegedly driving on the shoulder of a Los Angeles freeway. The actor agreed to step out of his vehicle during his conversation with the official.

Affleck was photographed in his navy-blue windbreaker and khaki pants while smoking a cigarette on the sidewalk. He also sported silver-framed sunglasses and white and red sneakers. It is unclear if Affleck received a ticket following the incident, but it didn’t take him long before he returned to his vehicle and drove off.

Meanwhile, Affleck recently got back together with his girlfriend, Lindsay Shookus, and the decision was inspired by the actor’s desire to get clean and sober. A source told US Weekly that Shookus was impressed with Affleck’s decision to return to rehab.

A second source said that Affleck and the “Saturday Night Live” producer just picked up where they left off since they rekindled their romance and they are also very comfortable and happy together. “He’s in a good place and works hard on himself every day,” the source. “He’s much stronger at this stage,” the source added.

Affleck and Shookus split in August 2018 after over a year of dating. Shortly after their split, Affleck dated Shauna Sexton. Days after his first public sighting with Sexton, Affleck checked himself into rehab for substance abuse. He managed to complete his 40-day program in October, but he also separated from Sexton around the same time.

Two months ago, it was revealed that Shookus reached out to Affleck and they started communicating regularly. “They’ve been talking and have seen each other again,” a source said. “Ben is in a much better place health-wise and is a lot happier,” the source added.

Affleck was previously married to Jennifer Garner, but they decided to go their separate ways in 2016. However, it was only last year that their divorce was finalized. Affleck and Garner have three kids together — Violet, 13; Seraphina, 10; and Samuel, 7. The couple has maintained an amicable relationship with each other their divorce, and they are also co-parenting their three kids.
