Back in April, Zac Efron visited Mexico to promote his latest film “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising.”
During one of his interviews, Efron was asked to share his experience about working with Mexican singer Belinda in the movie adaption of the 1990s television hit, “Baywatch.”
“Belinda was fantastic,” Efron said. “She is very sweet, very lovely, and she is really excellent.”
Beli did not waste time to post the video on her personal Instagram account as soon as it became available, which immediately started romance rumors across the country.
An anonymous source allegedly told a Mexican tabloid that the actor “asked her out on a date, but the romance was not confirmed yet.”
So, is #LadySapito dating the “High School Musical” star? The answer is no.
“I had a great time with everyone shooting the movie, I learned a lot from each one of them, from the girls, from Dwayne [Johnson], from Zac [Efron],” the 26-year-old performer said.
She continued, “We got along great and I have a very nice relationship with them. We still keep in touch and that’s all I can say, there’s no romance or anything like that.”
The 28-year-old hunk recently ended his relationship with Sam Miro, his girlfriend for the past two years.
According to Hollywood Life, the couple split because Efron was “finally getting to a place in Hollywood where he wants to be.”
“He always has wanted to be the next Leo DiCaprio,” a source revealed. “And he hopes now that he has the box office behind him that producers and directors will start giving him more chances other than lame romantic comedies he gets pitched every five minutes.”
Belinda on the other hand, is currently focusing on her music career and is already working on a new studio album that promises urban music beats.
Last month, the songstress announced on social media she was joining forces with producer Saga WhiteBlack, the mastermind behind Nicky Jam’s “El Perdón” and “Hasta El Amanecer.”
