Earlier this week, Belinda stopped by the set of Televisa’s morning show “Hoy,” where she agreed to play one of their many creative games called “La Silla Eléctrica” (The Electric Chair).
Even though we are not familiar with the dynamics of the game, it appears as if both contestants have to sit down on an “electric chair” and answer general knowledge questions. Whoever gets the answer wrong, gets electrocuted.
We are not entirely sure on why Beli agreed to do something like this in the first place, but from what we can tell from this video, she regretted every single minute of it.
In a video of her appearance, the 26-year-old singer is seen tied down to her seat as she begs Raúl “El Negro” Araiza not to give the order.
“Dear God, they are all sold out,” she screams. “I can’t let my public down.”
As she tries to avoid her punishment, her competition, host Galilea Montijo, yells: “Hold on to them! Hold on to them!” Referring to the handles on the chair, which are ready to be charged with electric energy.
“No mames!” the actress screams as soon as she feels the tingling sensation.
She continues, “I’m sorry! I said something very bad, didn’t I? A very horrible word.”
“Hoy’s” hosts can’t help but to burst out laughing as the “Sapito” performer continues to apologize.
Belinda recently revealed she is back at the studio working on new melodies next to music producer Saga WhiteBlack, the mastermind behind Nicky Jam’s “El Perdón” and “Hasta El Amanecer.” Also in the mix are urban artists Luney Tunes and Leslie Kahrens.
“It’s all about the music,” she captioned a photo of her already coming up with ideas for the upcoming production next to her team.
The former child star is also promoting her role in the movie adaptation of the 1990s television hit, “Baywatch.”
“I had a great time with everyone shooting the movie, I learned a lot from each one of them, from the girls, from Dwayne [Johnson], from Zac [Efron], she said during a recent interview. We got along great and I have a very nice relationship with them.”
