A Bin Laden family-owned property is the latest mansion in the affluent Bel-Air neighborhood to suffer extensive damage by taggers.

The sprawling pink home owned by Ibrahim bin Laden, brother of Osama bin Laden, was found blanketed with graffiti both inside and out. The property was purchased in the 1980's as a Bin Laden vacation getaway according to the LA Times, but has been unoccupied for at least 25 years.

The vandals appear to have known whose home they intruded on. One interior wall was tagged with obscenities and "Osama," along with "G.W. Bush Helped You."

The vandalism was discovered on the heels of two similar episodes in the Hollywood Hills, where vacant mansions were covered in graffiti a week earlier.

A neighbor, Fred Rosen, believes fault for the uptick in illegal activity lies with elected city officials. "L.A.'s woke. It's also broke," he said. "We've had a basic breakdown of consequences for bad behavior."

The Bin Laden property has been on and off the market over the past three years, currently listed at $21.5 million, with an active offer. When informed of the extensive damage, which includes numerous broken windows in the graffiti scrawled across walls, doors, trim and flooring, the would-be buyers were "very, very upset," the real estate agent told the LA Times.

Clean-up has begun on the graffiti defacing the previously vandalized mansions, with two arrests made in connection with the crime according to the Los Angeles Police Department. At this time, no charges have been pressed for the damage to the Bin Laden property.
