Bárbara Bermudo has been off the Univision airwaves for two complete months and has been relatively mum about her exit from the Spanish-language network. The former "Primer Impacto" co-host has been teasing a major announcement for March 8, which is International Woman's Day. "Welcome March," she said in a recent Instagram post. "Congratulations to all my female friends on Instagram... International Woman's Month has arrived, an extensive celebration for 31 days that honors the historic fight for a better life of all women. On March 8 I will be sharing a special message." She also added hashtags like "I am more," "You are more," We are more" and "Your rights count."
Bermudo did not specify what the message will be, but all of her fans are expecting to say something about her surprise firing from the television network. On a different post she wrote: "Good morning, the sun is out for everyone. Remember that there are things assigned to your life. Don't give up because you are about to conquer them, TRUST." The inspirational message gives way to believe the Puerto Rican journalist is in a good place despite losing her job earlier in the year. We are thrilled to find out what all of this is about. Following her abrupt exit from the Spanish-language network, Bermudo went absolutely dark on her social media accounts. It was until days later that she took to her Instagram account to post a message to all of her followers. “Hello my beautiful people,” she wrote. “I was absent from social media to intimately with God, to reflect and thanks for everything. I have all of you in my hear, in my mind, thank you, thank you, thank you and thank you for all of your love and beautiful messages.” The caption was accompanied by a photo of the television journalist at sea, viewing a beautiful sunset and making a heart with her hands. She concluded her statement saying: “God takes care of everything, our thoughts, our destiny and above all, our future. I love you all.”
The outpouring of support continued for days and Bermudo once again thanked all of her followers. “I have the the most important title that one can wish for,” she wrote on Instagram. “It’s a title that makes me proud, makes me responsible and fills my heart of love each day. Thank God for my family, my daughters, Mario Andrés Moreno and everyone of you.” She also added: “I am making firm steps. My heart continues to be inflated, thank you for all of your messages of love, support and kindness. I love you very much.” The journalist also added the hashtag, “God is good all the time.”
