Andi Dorfman is set to bring a lot of spunk to Season 10 but recent spoiler reports have revealed she is bringing even more than just her fun personality to the mansion. According to Reality Steve, who is literally “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” spoiler guru, Andi Dorfman will be bringing her dad with her on her journey for true love. Talk about a Season 10 surprise, I’m sure the 25 recently revealed contestants will be shocked when they see Andi’s dad, Hy Dorfman walking through the door.
Fans of the popular ABC dating series first meet Hy when Andi was on “The Bachelor” and visited Atlanta, Georgia on her Hometown Date with Juan Pablo. Not only did fans meet Andi’s dad, they instantly fell in love with him, mainly due to his Southern traditions and his strict values. It seemed as if Hy was the only one who saw through Juan Pablo’s façade and outright told him there was no chance that he was giving him permission to ask for Andi’s hand in marriage. After the episode aired, he tweeted “If I seemed over protective on the show. It is because I am protecting the most spectacular, special, amazing daughter in the world.”
Reality Steve revealed that the protective and sentimental dad would not be letting his guard down with the new 25 contestants. In a “Bachelorette” surprise, Andi and her potential suitors will be joined by Hy Dorfman on the first night. Most likely her dad will lay down some ground rules for courting his daughter, and let them know that need to respect her, or they will most likely meet a similar fate as Juan Pablo. Even more exciting, Andi’s dad will apparently be back to talk to them as Season 10 progresses.
As if finding love wasn’t hard enough, Andi and the guys will certainly be in big trouble if everyone doesn’t follow Hy’s rules. The gesture is sweet and sincere, and even funnier Reality Steve claims that Andi’s dad decided to join her on night one on his own, she did not ask him, but was more than happy with his company.
