ABC’s “The Bachelor” returned Monday night with an all-new episode. Mr. Juan Pablo has the girls fighting over him. Emotions were running high as the girls visited Juan Pablo’s hometown of Miami. There are six girls left: Clare, Nikki, Sharleen, Andi, Renee and Chelsie. To everyone else’s dismay, Sharleen was granted the first one-on-one date with Juan Pablo. She spent most of the episode agonizing over her feelings for the bachelor. She revealed to Renee that she was unsure of her connection with Juan Pablo and was worried about introducing him to her family as well as taking a spot away from one of the other girls.
Nikki got the second one-on-one date with Juan Pablo. Nikki was the first of the girls to meet the bachelor’s family. She met Juan Pablo’s daughter Camila, his parents and Camilla’s mother Carla Rodriguez. After seeing Camila at her dance recital, Nikki and Juan Pablo went on a dinner date in the Miami Marlins stadium. Sharleen made her exit after telling the girls first that she was leaving the house. Tears were shed by booth Sharleen and Juan Pablo. He said she was going to have a hometown date, for sure, and the bachelor seemed particularly bummed about her departure.
Then it was onto the group date with Clare, Andi, Renee and Chelsie. The girls and Juan Pablo got to hang out on the beach after a brief sea plane ride. Per usual, Clare sat close herself close to the bachelor on the date. Each of the girls were vying for a rose and chance for some one-on-one time with Juan Pablo. Some girls tried the emotional route, talking to him about their family. “He just has a calming effect over me,” said Andi. Juan Pablo gave only one rose out to the girls before the rose ceremony and it was to Andi, who got to spend the second half of the group date with him alone. Clare made it clear how disappointed she was, while the girls picked up and left the beach. Andi got to go on a date with Juan Pablo at an exclusive Romeo Santos concert!
