Despite constant rumors that Chris Soules is the next “Bachelor” it seems like the Iowa farmer may have some serious competition. Even though the 32-year-olds failed to capture Andi Dorfman’s heart on this season of “The Bachelorette,” most fans were thrilled when the news of Soules being the next “Bachelor” was released. Reality TV guru and spoiler, Reality Steve has been promising fans that the sweet souled Chris will get another chance of love on “The Bachelor,” but now he is saying that Chris may not be the only man in the running for the coveted job! Could it be true?
Recent reports claim that another former “Bachelorette” contestant is giving Chris a run for his money; fans will most certainly remember the “kissing bandit” from Season 8 of “The Bachelorette.” That’s right, the rumored competitor is Arie Luyendyk, Jr. from Emily Maynard’s season. Arie Luyendyk, Jr. was the adorable racecar driver that made it all the way to final episode with Emily. Despite their connection, Emily emotionally sent Arie home and ended up choosing Jef Holm to receive her final rose and of course ring!
According to E! News, producers for the ABC reality show want the opposite of the 2014 “Bachelor,” Juan Pablo. Despite starting off the season with an adorable accent, and a genuine reason for finding love, a supposed stepmother for his daughter Camilla, Juan Pablo soon become the worst and most hated “Bachelor” in the history of the show. “They are looking for the anti-Juan Pablo,” a source close to production told the website. “Definitely want a really nice guy this time around.”
So it seems like Chris Soules and Arie Luyendyk, Jr. totally fit the nice guy bill. But who will ABC ultimately pick for the role? Well it seems like the running is tight, according RadarOnline, ABC has hired a trainer for Arie Luyendyk, Jr. and is working with him daily in order to get him into pristine “Bachelor” shape, there are a lot of shirtless scenes to consider. And while Arie Luyendyk, Jr. has a trainer, Chris Soules is not out of the running yet. Not only did ABC put his sweetness and availability on display during the “Men Tell All” episode mini-date, they re-introduced him to fans, making him all the more relatable and thus attractive. Lastly Wetpaint reports that Chris Soules is leaving Iowa behind to visit Los Angeles this week in order to meet with ABC producers.
