Baby brand Frida has stunned the internet by announcing the launch of a breast milk-flavored ice cream, sparking disbelief and excitement among curious consumers.
Frida, known for its baby and postpartum care products, unveiled the unconventional frozen treat as part of the launch of its new 2-in-1 Manual Breast Pump.
The company claims the ice cream will authentically replicate the taste of breast milk—described as sweet, nutty, and slightly salty—while incorporating key nutrients like Omega-3s, calcium, and iron.
Though not made with actual breast milk due to USDA regulations, the product plays into a growing cultural curiosity, with studies suggesting that 70% of women have tasted their own breast milk and nearly a third of men are interested in trying it.
The announcement was met with both shock and enthusiasm on social media, with some users questioning if the product was an early April Fools' joke.
"Too early for April fools lol," Instagram user @stephaniejett wrote, while @maddiethemomma added, "Besties it's not April fools yet."
Frida confirmed that the ice cream is real, and those eager to try it will have to wait nine months for its release.
