Congratulations Tony Parker! The 31-year-old San Antonio Spurs player is expecting his first child with fiancee Axelle Francine. He shared the happy news on Twitter saying, "Hey just wanted to say that I'm very happy today," he wrote. "Me and my future Wife going to have a Baby Boy!!!!" Parker and Francine have been dating since 2011 and got engaged sometime this year. The San Antonio Spurs player confirmed the engagement last June with a tweet revealing what he likes to do to unwind during a game. "Spend time with my fiancée," he wrote as an answer to a fan's question.
Before he started dating Francine, Parker was married to "Desperate Housewives" actress and "Devious Maids" producer Eva Longoria, which got both of them much recognition, and media coverage. Parker, and Longoria split up in 2010 after a public sexting scandal between Parker and Erin Barry, the wife of his former teammate Brent Barry. Longoria and Parker's divorce was finalized in 2011. Since then, the 38-year-old actress has dated baseball hunk Mark Sanchez, reality star Ernesto Arguello and musician Eduardo Cruz. And you have no reason to feel sorry for her, since this independent woman says she's not too crazy about having kids right now. "I'm not one of those women who are like, 'I must procreate!'" she said in an interview. "I think kids are a product of love. So if you find the right person and you want to have a family with that person, then that's when the time is right. But...if I'm 50 and single, I'm not going to go do it myself."
As for Tony and Axelle, the French athlete and journalist respectively, reportedly met when they were both coming out of committed relationships. Axelle had just come out of a ten-year relationship when she met Tony through a friend in New York, according to reports. This will be the first child for both. What do you think? Will Tony Parker be a good dad?
