Imagine you're having a bad day or you just need to unwind and vent some things out, and you decide to tweet them, or write a Facebook post. And you go on with your day, until your boyfriend comes home, enraged about the post and starts beating you and basically torturing you over the things you wrote.

That's what allegedly happened to a Miami woman named Leeanne Sauma, 36, who claims she was beaten for 16 hours by her then boyfriend doctor Orlando Llorente.

"He became enraged, grabbed her by the hair, took her into the bathroom, and not only stuck her head inside the toilet, but then put her in the tub and was able to get a rag and stuff it down her mouth," Miami police spokeswoman, Kenia Reyes, said to the Miami Herald.

While authorities are not telling what the message that triggered the allegations read, they said that 41-year-old Orlando Llorente was charged with kidnapping, attempted murder and other charges. He was being held without bail in the Miami-Dade County jail.

Sauma has yet to comment about the incident.

"Dr. Llorente voluntarily surrendered to authorities and is resolute on clearing his name," his lawyer said in a news statement this week. "He reached out to law enforcement, through his lawyers, when these false allegations surfaced. We are disappointed that our requests for more time in which to present a thorough and thoughtful examination into the source of the allegations and the facts surrounding them was declined."
