After a gunman opened fire at three Atlanta-area spas last Tuesday that killed eight people and critically injured another, families are in shock and mourning. The attacks started at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Cherokee County, where four people died. Four more people were killed in two attacks in Atlanta less than an hour apart.

A GoFundMe page set up to assist the familes with funeral costs says Delaina Ashley Yaun, 33, of Acworth, Georgia has left behind two children. "We just don't know how to do any of this alone," the page stated.

NBC affiliate WXIA Atlanta said Yaun got married to Mario González in August last year. According to her neighbor, she has a 9-month-old daughter and a son and described her as an amazing mother and adoring wife.

Yaun was with her husband at Young's Asian Massage where they had booked a couple's massage. The pair had also paid for a babysitter and planned to spend the day relaxing at the spa. When gunshots were fired, they were in different places.

González was unharmed while Yuan got killed in the gunfire. He told Mundo Hispanico that he had to live with more than just the shock of the shooting. He was detained by police officers for several hours without knowing whether his wife was alive or dead.

González said the pair went to the spa for massages as his wife was tired from working all day. He said he heard gunshots after an hour and couldn't see anything.

He recalled that the cops came in and grabbed him. González said he was apprehended by Cherokee County police just minutes after the shooting and taken to a patrol car, where he waited for four hours. He revealed handcuff bruises to the news outlet.

González was detained by the authorities who believed him to be the suspect. But, hours later they let him go, after the actual suspect, 21-year-old Robert Aaron Long was traced.

He mentioned seeing the bodies of the victims strewn with blood all over the area. He didn't know whether they were alive or dead, and he said he couldn't see his wife or enter the crime scene. González added that the person who killed his wife should "pay" for it and be sentenced to death.
