Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have been quietly dating each other for over a year. But it seems like the pair is ready to take their relationship to the next level. The 30-year-old actress was spotted with a simple gold band on her ring finger as she picked up a colorful bouquet of flowers in Studio City, California on Wednesday. While it doesn't look like your typical giant diamond engagement bling, the ring has sparked many rumors that the "That's 70's Show" costars are tying the knot very soon.
An unidentified source told People Magazine, "They are not engaged," however, another insider told the publication that Kutcher, 35, had talked about popping the question to Kunis around her 30th birthday on Aug. 14. "He knows what they have is amazing and special," says the source, who's in the actor's inner circle. "He's been thinking about proposing for a long time." "Ashton is set on proposing [to Mila]. He really wants to marry her and is so annoyed that there is still the hold up with the divorce," the source said in July.
Ashton married Demi Moore on Sept. 24, 2005. They swapped vows in a secret Beverly Hills wedding with 100 guests looking on, including Demi's ex-husband, Bruce Willis, and the three daughters the former couple shared. On Nov. 17, 2011, after a series of accusations that Ashton had been unfaithful, Demi announced her plans to divorce her husband. "It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton," she said in a statement.
However, they are just separated and haven't finalized their divorce yet, with that situation getting messy every day. Earlier this year, Demi sought spousal support and legal fees. "Demi felt like she had been wronged. She's the one who was forced to end it. She's making a point," said a source.
Meanwhile, Ashton and Mila, who were first rumored to be dating in April of last year, have been seemingly inseparable. They have been looking particularly close in recent weeks, enjoying a holiday in China last month, where they were seen sharing a few special moments as they climbed the Great Wall of China and toured Beijing.
"They plan to get engaged soon. Being with Mila brought Ashton back to who he really is," another source told Us Weekly. ''He's not playing the field, he's focused on enjoying Mila and the happiness she brings. She doesn't get jealous like Demi used to. He calls her because he wants to and when they're apart they talk constantly," added the source.
