Superheros are best known on television series although some take it seriously to a certain extent. But there is perhaps nothing more serious than this man from Scotland who moved to Arkansas to fight crime. And his prime directive right now is to hunt down a serial killer.
Known as “ShadowVision,” the masked vigilante gave fair warning to a serial killer on the loose via Facebook. This was about his latest target named “Little Rock slasher.”
"I know that the serial stabber is keeping a eye on my page here, so this is a threat to you when I find you I will show you what I do to serial killers,” the masked vigilante wrote. "I am hunting you right now," he added.
“ShadowVision” shouldn’t be hard to miss. Like most fictional superheroes, he dons a special kind of get up to fight crime. That includes a steel helmet, fanged arm guards, shoulder pads and handcuffs. So far, he alleges that he has stopped two armed robberies and dealt with two murderers.
He went on to explain as well that he is not doing this for money. It is all about helping although he is a bit limited right now with no vehicle to use. “ShadowVision” claims that his old car got shot up in the line of duty, leaving him to carry out his advocacy on foot. On the bright side, he admits that walking roughly 80 miles a week helps him stay fit.
"I really do not want any reward,” the vigilante explained. "I want him off the streets. One way or another, he will be."
“ShadowVision” is reportedly in the market for a motor, a Scion xD. They are agile and can make turns at high speed, something that should help him cover the local streets better.
The masked vigilante’s unsolicited aid comes not long after Little Rock Police Chief Keith Humphrey issued a 'safety alert' in response to the spate of random stabbings in the city last month. Three men have died so far while the latest was able to survive an attack that happened on Apr. 11.
