Let’s also not forget that Pitt and Aniston have been offering each other quite a lot of support in recent times— he even attended Aniston’s private 50th birthday bash and offered her unswerving support on her mother’s passing away three years ago. Now, many speculate, the 2020 Golden Globes could be the game-changer for the former lovebirds. Has life come a full circle for them?

But, hold your horses. Pitt has made it clear that he’s not reigniting any past romance. He’s probably in the mood to let bygones be bygones, but nope— he’s clearly NOT getting back to anyone from his past. While the news may come as a dampener to Pitt-Aniston fans, the man has officially spoken and it’s only fair if we take his word for it.

“I don’t go out of my way to avoid it; I just don’t seek it out,” said Pitt in a recent interview with the New York Times. “I don’t know how many women they’ve said I’ve been dating the last two or three years, and none of it is true...” he added.

So, well, it is just what it is—there’s nothing cooking between one of Hollywood’s favorite couple. They might have given us goals, and their rapport might still give wide-eyed fans an iota of hope, but it’s clear that one mustn’t expect too much on this front.

Coming back to the 2020 Golden Globes, the actors have both been nominated for awards: Aniston for Best Actress for “The Morning Show” and Pitt for Best Supporting Actor in “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”

On the other hand, everyone’s been talking about Aniston and Selena Gomez’s friendship. Gomez took to Instagram and commented “Queen” on one of Aniston’s recent make-up free snaps promoting her new series, “The Morning Show”. With the comment, their close friendship and mutual admiration for each other was brought to light.
