A new screenshot from German site ifun shows the possibility of iWork and iLife being free. The screenshot suggest that Apple will be giving users both iOS suite applications for free when the iOS 7 software launches this fall.

The screenshot is similar to the page in the Apple App Store that gives you an option of free apps to help better use your iOS device, like the image below. The page encourages customers to download free apps to "get the most out of your iPhone."
The exact translation for the screenshot is "For optimal use of their cases, we recommend these free apps from Apple." Check out the image below.
The iLife suite apps include iPhoto, iMovie and Garage Band. iMovie and iPhoto are available on the Apple App store for $4.99. Garage band is missing from this screen but there would be no reason for Apple to not make that application free as well.

The iWork suites applications include: Pages, Numbers and Keynotes. Those are all available on the app store for $9.99 each.
At WWDC in June Apple talked about the launch of iWork for iCloud but didn't mention a price which suggested that Apple would be making the iWork applications free. This isn't a new thing for Apple, with the purchase of a Mac customers also get the iLife apps for free.

Offering both the iWork and iLife applications would definitely add some incentive for customers to buy an iPad or iPhone.
