Today Apple released the fifth beta of iOS 7 which brings much needed bug fixes and improvements to the operating system.

iOS 7 beta five also offers a slew of minor interface tweaks and improvements that continue to make iOS 7 feel both faster and more polished. Here are the latest findings to the OS update thanks to MacRumors and 9to5mac.

Settings Menu

The icons in the settings menu have been completely redesigned. They have gone from an all blue color with white backgrounds to varying colored backgrounds and white icon images.

Control Center

Control Center's settings now allow the function to be turned off while in apps, which prevents the control center from getting in the way when playing games or using other apps.

Power Off Bar

The sliding bar that powers off the phone has been slightly altered.

Twitter App

The Twitter icon has been redesigned. The colors have been inverted making the background white and the bird blue.

Notifications

Banner notifications can now be pulled down to access additional information.

Phone

A new in-call icon has been added and the others have been tweaked. Also the icons appear to be larger.

Accessibility

There are now On/Off toggle options under the Accessibility menu.

Boot Screen

When turning on your iPhone the background and Apple logo will be whatever color your iPhone is. White iPhone now has a black apple and a white background.

Messages

In Apple's beta 5, only the first name is displayed when messages are open.

Expect more features to be added when they are discovered. Apple will most likely roll out updates to the OS until the official release which is expected this fall.
