Two weeks after releasing the second beta of iOS 7, which was revealed at WWDC, Apple has released the third installment of the software's beta for developers.

The update is arriving as both an over-the-air update to existing beta testers and through the iOS Dev Center.
The new beta arrives as build 11A4414e, up from the second beta at build 11A4400f. Apple has also released a third developer preview of Xcode 5.

The third beta installment is said to address a plethora of issues found in beta 2 and add a few improvements as well. The full list of additions is too lengthy to include here but we will give you a list of highlights from iOS 7 beta 3.
On the lock screen you will notice the status bar is larger also folders on the home screen are more transparent.
The Calendar app shows which days you have events on and new fonts all around look more like the font from iOS 6.
Music controls are redesigned and the time has been added to the lock screen when you play music.
Apple also added new app icon loading UI for when you download apps. Check out the new UI in action in the vine video below.
Siri is now much faster to navigate, various font changes all over and the Dictionary feature is now active.

iOS 7 is scheduled for release in the fall of this year, with updates to Apple's iPhone, iPad, and iPad mini all expected around the same time. If past history is any indication, iOS 7 should be made available to the public just a few days before the launch of the next-generation iPhone.
