During a podcast appearance on "The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart," Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez warned President Donald Trump's presidency is "much more dangerous" this time around.
"All of these people that were scared before about being associated with him, from the most common, basic level to the most elite level, they're all all in now because this is now a billionaire feeding frenzy," the Democratic New York representative stated in a clip shared on X Thursday.
AOC further clarified her point by calling Trump's term a "kiss-ass race" for billionaires to "show much fealty" they have to the president in order to "get their digs."
"I think what's really important for people to understand now and everyday of this administration is that you're being ripped off. You're being ripped off, dude. Everyone is being ripped off," AOC advised Americans.
"He goes up there and he says what he wants to say, but he's just the quintessential New York con man," she continued.
Since taking office on Monday, Trump announced a $500 billion AI project in partnership with two private tech companies: OpenAI, whose CEO Sam Altman boasts a $1.2 billion net worth, and Oracle, whose co-founder, Larry Ellison, is one of the wealthiest men in the world with a $216.9 billion net worth.
