An anti-Elon Musk group is going viral for its Tesla "Swasticar" ad after the tech billionaire helped Germany's far-right party become the second-strongest political force in the country.
A video posted to the @everyonehateselon TikTok, run by the UK group Everyone Hates Elon, shows a person wearing a yellow safety vest replacing a bus ad with a parody ad for Tesla.
The simple black-and-white ad reads: "Goes From 0 to 1939 In 3 Seconds" above an image of Musk performing a Nazi salute from a Tesla vehicle. Underneath the picture reads "Tesla" in the company's branding followed by "The Swasticar."
"🚨Elon Musk just helped the far-right in DE win their best result since WW2 then called them to say congrats. So don't buy his f*ing cars, yeah? #dontbuyaswasticar #elonmusk," the group wrote in its caption.

The group shared a follow-up video of the same ad with on-screen text reading, "👀be a shame if these popped up around the world."
This isn't the first time the group has targeted Musk's electric vehicle company. Last month, members placed "Don't buy a Swasticar" stickers, which they are now selling, on Tesla vehicles across London.

Musk has spent the last few months championing the Alternative for Germany (AfD) far-right party, a right he believes he has after making "significant investments" in the country. He even published an opinion piece in Germany's Welt am Sonntag newspaper, prompting the paper's editor to resign in protest.
Although the party came in second in the federal elections, it doubled its vote share to 28.6%, making it the most popular far-right party since WWII, as noted by Everyone Hates Elon.
