Angus T. Jones was thought to be the last actor on "Two and a Half Men" to have issues with the program. After 'uncle' Charlie Sheen left "Two and a Half Men" in-part after a tirade on the subject of show creator Chuck Lorre. Sheen railed against Lorre and in what was considered an anti-Semitic gesture, scoffed at the his use of a pseudonym instead of his original last name, Levine, among other memorable yet disturbing rants.
Angus T. Jones, 19, who plays Jake Harper, son of Jon Cryer's Alan, was caught on a YouTube video for a religious organization called Fore Runner Chronicles denouncing "Two and a Half Men" as "filth", likely for its occasional lofty humor.
Jones said that he had finally found "my church", when visiting a service at the Valley Crossroads Seventh-Day-Adventist Church, and talked about the impact religion has had on his life. Many of his family members, including an uncle and both the Texas-native's parents were or are incarcerated at one point, according to the "Daily Mail". His uncle Eric E. Claypool is serving a 99-year sentence for a murder charge.
Angus T. Jones later apologized for "disrespect[ing] my colleagues" and not properly "appreciating" his unique opportunity to be a part of "Two and a Half Men". Nina Tassler, the head of CBS' entertainment division, accepted his apology, saying it was indicative of young adults to occasionally say things they later regret, citing her own son five years older than Jones.
While "Two And A Half Men" was indeed renewed for an eleventh season, Jones is rumored to become a somewhat irregular cast member, meaning the CBS sitcom will occasionally be about just "Two Men" when Jones is no longer a recurring character. He reportedly wants to use the extra free time to pursue a musical career.
