Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been divorced for three years. But, there are rumors that the “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” star regrets her decision to call it quits from her ex-husband.
A tabloid, recently, claimed that Jolie is "tortured by regret" and the actress acknowledged the fact that she made a mistake by calling off their marriage. An unnamed source told the tabloid that Jolie wants to get back together with Pitt now that he regularly goes to therapy and has been sober for years.
Jolie, on the other hand, is struggling and the actress’s health is also deteriorating because of her divorce.
“When Angie first ended things, a part of her felt like maybe she could do better than Brad,” the unnamed source said. But, years later, the award-winning actress is rumored to have changed her mind and she now wants to make things right with her ex-husband.
According to the rumor-debunking site, Gossip Cop, there is no truth to the claims. Jolie and Pitt were still engaged in a bitter court battle when the tabloid first claimed that they wanted to get back together. Until today, the couple’s divorce still hasn’t been finalized. However, they have already worked out the custody of their six children.
The publication claimed that, if Jolie wanted so bad to reconcile with her ex-husband, the actress would’ve already called off her divorce. But, just a few weeks ago, the court ordered “The Eternals” star to give Pitt more time so that he could be with their children or she could risk losing custody of all of them.
During her interview with Madame Figaro magazine, the actress opened up about her divorce. She said that she learned how to rediscover her joy amid her struggles. Jolie also said that she’s still in the process of transitioning after going through a very difficult time in her life.
Jolie didn’t mention anything about wanting to get back together with Pitt. In fact, the actress usually avoids mentioning the name of her ex-husband during her interviews. Jolie and Pitt have no plans to get back together.
