Angelina Jolie Rumors: Report Claims ‘Maleficent’ Star Might Be Adopting A Seventh Child

Even after her divorce from Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie still remains one of the favorite subjects in the rumor mills. The most recent one is a report claiming that the “Maleficent” actress might be planning to adopt another child.

The recent rumor about Angelina Jolie contemplating adopting a seventh child came from the celebrity focused-magazine OK!, according to Gossip Cop. In OK!’s article titled “Adopting Again?”, the publication claimed that the actress is mulling over the possibility of adopting a seventh child now that her eldest son Maddox is off to college in South Korea.

A supposed source said that Jolie actually wanted to adopt another child even before she and Brad Pitt divorced. However, it was Pitt who felt that six children are enough. “Angelina would have done this years ago, but Brad [Pitt] felt their brood of six was enough,” an anonymous source was cited by OK!.

But now that they’ve divorced, Jolie is reportedly giving the idea of adoption another serious consideration. In fact, the tipster claimed that the actress plan to get the ball rolling once her divorce settlement is finalized.

Perhaps to buttress the source’s claims, the tipster added that Jolie has been making “preliminary inquiries” in several countries such as Haiti, Syria, Ethiopia and other parts of Africa. The actress is reportedly planning to personally visit various orphanages in the future.

“She’s still firming up plans to visit more orphanages around the world,” the supposed tipster added. “She’s so very proud of her children and all they’ve accomplished, especially their humanitarian efforts, and she wants to give another child the same opportunity.”

However, Gossip Cop wrote that OK!’s story is not true. The fact-checking site got in touch with Jolie’s camp but was told that there are no plans to a depot a seventh child and that the Maleficent actress was not investigating orphanages.

Gossip Cop also noted that rumors about Jolie adopting another child are not exactly new. In 2018, the fact-checking site busted a false story claiming that the actress is adopting a little boy from Syria. OK!’s sister publication, the Globe, was also busted last month for a similar story claiming that Jolie is adopting a seventh baby once her divorce from Pitt is finalized.
