Angelica Vale Telenovela: Mexican Actress To Write, Star In New Telemundo Soap Opera

Angélica Vale has got a new project up her sleeves, and she's very excited to show it to the world. The Mexican actress has done it all, from acting in shows and theater to making people laugh with her impeccable celebrity impersonations, but now, she's taking on the role of writer. Vale, according to TV y Novelas, will be writing and starring in her own telenovela expected to air in Telemundo.

"I'm very excited about Telemundo, they've opened the doors to me, not only as an artist but also to unfold this soap opera that I've written," she said, noting that it would have been difficult to take such step with Televisa.

The magazine states that Vale has been working on the novela's script since after she finished filming "La Fea mas Bella." She's also tried to pitch her idea to many networks, but had no luck. "Now I feel very happy to be on Telemundo, I'm in a network that told me: 'Yes, we want to listen to your projects.' It's things that never happen or happen rarely. It's never happened to me."

The telenovela is currently untitled and no other detail was revealed. All that's left is to wait patiently to see Vale's debut as a telenovela writer and to catch her in the small screens again!
