Influencer Andrew Tate went off on a strange rant during an interview this week, chastising Florida authorities whilst bragging about how they would not be able to successfully investigate him because he "wipes his phone every night."
Tate was interviewed by right-wing commentator Candace Owens on Tuesday, during which he discussed the fact that he and his brother, Tristan, were under investigation in the state of Florida, according to Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier.
"Come get me, arrest me, perp walk me, put me on the news, tell everyone I'm a human trafficker," Tate said angrily.
"You think I'm not versed? You think I'm not ready? I'm a Navy SEAL in this sh**. F***ing come get me, raid my house, take my stuff. You think I sleep with a phone full of evidence? You don't think I wipe my phone every night? You think I'm dumb?" Tate continued.

The influencer landed in Florida on Thursday after the Trump administration reportedly pressured the Romanian government to allow the Tate brothers to leave Romania and travel internationally. Romania had initially barred the brothers from leaving the country after they were charged with human trafficking and rape.
"Last week, I directed my office to work with our law enforcement partners to conduct a preliminary inquiry into Andrew and Tristan Tate," Uthmeier wrote in a statement to X. "Based on a thorough review of the evidence, I've directed the Office of Statewide Prosecution to execute search warrants and issue subpoenas in the now-active criminal investigation into the Tate brothers."

Based on a thorough review of the evidence, I’ve directed the Office of Statewide Prosecution to execute search warrants and issue subpoenas…
Social media users pointed out that despite Tate's tirade on evidence and his ability to cover up his tracks, much of the evidence used by Romanian law enforcement to arrest him in the first place was taken from his phone. In 2023, multiple devices were seized from the Tate brothers, with forensic examinations being conducted on all of them.
"What evidence is there? ... There is none, that should be the story, please cover that story. The police have fabricated the evidence. There is no evidence. There is no victim," Tristan Tate told reporters at the time.
"Andrew didn't know his jail calls were being recorded and a significant portion of his Romanian case evidence came directly off his phone," wrote one user.

Tate revealed that authorities had taken his phone right as he landed in Florida.
"Florida has zero tolerance for people who abuse women and girls. We will not allow it," Uthmeier added.
