Introducing a different dynamic, the first episode of the 23rd cycle of "America's Next Top Model" on VH1 will be aired tonight, Monday, Dec. 12. Executive Producer and former host of the show Tyra Banks revamped the judges panel, replacing the previous group with fresh faces like singer Rita Ora, who will be the head judge, followed by plus-size super model Ashley Graham, Paper Magazine chief creative officer Drew Elliott and celebrity stylist Law Roach. This cycle will follow the series original format of all-female contestants.
"I’m not looking for a traditional model. And I’m not looking for a social media model. I’m looking for both," says Tyra Banks to the contestants during this season's trailer.
Fourteen stunning aspiring models from different ethnicities between 18 and 27 years old include: Binta Dibba from Seattle; Cherish Waters from Los Angeles; identical twin sisters Cody Wells and Tash Wells from San Jose, CA; CoryAnne Roberts from Bali, Indonesia; Courtney Nelson from San Francisco, CA; Giah Hardeman from Bryan-College Station, TX; India Gants from Seattle; Justine Biticon from Los Angeles; Kyle McCoy from Darien, CT; Marissa Hopkins from Houston, TX; Paige Mobley from Birmingham, MI; Tatiana Price from Brooklyn, NY; and representing the Latino community Krislian Rodriguez from Los Angeles, CA. They are going to battle each week to survive the competition.
During the show, besides Tyra Banks, other special guests are going to show up and evaluate the girls. Model Chanel Iman, singer and actress Zendaya, DJ Khaled, singer and songwriter Jason Derulo, Tinashe, French Montana, and Amber Rose, just to name a few, will be doing special appearances throughout the season.
The winner of "America’s Next Top Model" will receive $100,000, a commercial feature on behalf of Rimmel London, and a fashion spread in Paper Magazine, along with an exclusive one year talent deal with VH1.
