Season 3 of "American Horror Story" is filled with so many twists and turns, it's no wonder the number of witches in the "Coven" decreases each year, who could survive the chaos? With the drama at Miss Robichaux's in full swing, episode 6 "The Axeman Cometh" introduced Season 3's "Bloody Face" and we don't see him leaving-th any time soon! With Fiona constantly oscillating between reality and drug induced stupors, a deadly romance was hinted at in of episode 6, and this time the witches are in serious danger and so is their Supreme.
The most recent episode of "American Horror Story" introduced the Axeman and he introduced himself to a drunk Fiona, a true match made in heaven! The Axeman was an infamous serial killer who terrorized the Jazz infused city of New Orleans in 1919, despite killing several innocent people and holding the city "hostage," the Axeman was finally put to rest. Well, sort of. The Axeman finally met a worth adversary when he was lured into Miss Robichaux's by the young, but powerful witches of the coven. The witches brutally stabbed the serial killer to death and trapped his spirit in the house, where it stayed, until Zoe came alone. Zoe, Nan, and Queenie used his spirit to find Madison, Zoe promised him release in return, although she later refused. This lead the demented spirit to demand his release and attack their now blind head master Cordelia. The girls quickly performed a spell to release his spirit from the Academy, although the spell seemed to bring him back to life.
And while the how of the Axeman's resurgence is still a bit confusing the why is pretty clear. The Axeman plans to take out the remaining witches of the Coven. At the end of episode 6, Fiona and the Axeman meet each other at a swanky bar and they seem to hit it off. In the promo video for episode 7, "The Dead," it seems like Fiona and the Axeman become more than just drinking buddies, she begins a "love affair" with him who has "had his eye on her for a very, very long time." Will he attempt to kill her? Most likely, but knowing Fiona, she will have a few tricks up her witches sleeve.
The wicked romance doesn't end there. The leaked synopsis for episode 7 reveals that fans will be treated to a flashback of Kyle before he became a real life Frankenstein. "American Horror Story" viewers will get to see Kyle a year before he met his maker, Madison. "The Dead" will delve deeper into his past life, in one scene Kyle is lounging with his friends, sharing "his dreams about leading a useful, helpful life." And while it's a sweet sentiment, the new Kyle is way off track. So where's the romance? Well apparently being brought back to life is the building blocks to a lasting relationship, Madison and Kyle will over their death and revival. "One of them who lived a numbed life and is even more numbed now, is desperate to feel again and is willing to go to extreme measures to make it happen," the leaked synopsis teases. "Another, horrified by what he's become, only wants to die and feel nothing anymore."
Hmmph, who knew the way to get a boyfriend was to kill him, and then bring him back to life! Check out the promo video for episode 7, "The Dead" and be sure to tune in to "American Horror Story: Coven" on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 10 p.m!
