AMA 2013 Winners: Get Full List Of Artists Given American Music Award Trophies

The 2013 American Music Awards are underway and the winners are now being revealed. Justin Timberlake was the first to take an award for Favorite Male Artist in the Pop/Rock category. Other acts nominated for the top award of the night include Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake, who all scored multiple nominations in the different categories. Directioners don't fret as the boys scored two nominations this year in the Favorite Band, Duo or Group, Pop or Rock category and for Favorite Album, Pop or Rock for their "Take Me Home" album. Latinos are present in the nominees and Marc Anthony, Prince Royce and Romeo Santos will fight for the Favorite Latin Artist award. The American Music Awards 2013 red carpet was rolled out at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles and sizzled with music artists like Katy Perry who opened the show singing "Unconditionally." The singer arrived on the red carpet in an Oscar de la Renta gown, ripped out of a page from a fairy tale. Kesha made her mark sporting dual-toned hair color, but that was not as shocking as Lady Gaga arriving in a white horse and causing a scene at her arrival. The boys of One Direction looked dapper and brought their A-game while the Jenner sisters, Kendall and Kylie, trailed right behind them. Other stars showing off on the red carpet were Daisy Fuentes, Alicia Silverstone, Ariana Grande, Lady Antebellum, Fifth Harmony, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift and more. Pitbull opened his hosting duties being gracious for the opportunity to helm the award show being a Latino and representing. Mr. Worldwide pointed out that "twerking" was the cool thing to do now, but Latinos have been shaking it since the 80s. He brought it a couple of girls to show off the different techniques in shaking that booty. Taylor Swift presented the first award of the night to Justin Timberlake, while Emma Roberts presented her favorite boyband One Direction. The cheeky boys performed "Story Of My Life" a day after they celebrated 1D Day and live streamed online for seven consecutive hours ahead of their "Midnight Memories" album release.
