Alicia Silverstone will ask the age old question, got milk?

The "Clueless" star is starting a breast-milk sharing program for vegan moms through her website "The Kind Life."

"I'm starting the Kind Mama Milk Share, a way for moms to connect with other moms in their area," the actress wrote on her blog. "If you have milk to share--post it! If you are in need of milk--post it! Think of all the babies we can help raise together!"

Silverstone is a vegan with a website related to this lifestyle, modeled after her No. 1 New York Times best-selling vegan cookbook, "The Kind Diet: A Simple Guide To Feeling Great, Losing Weight and Saving The Planet."

The idea of launching a breast-milk bank came after one of her readers e-mailed Alicia about her newborn. The woman recently had a breast reduciton surgery and found that "she wouldn't be able to make enough milk for" her baby. After reaching out to her community for donor milk, she wasn't sure if the donors also led a healthy lifestyle like her.

"A lot of women unfortunately have a similar struggle, and there's no reason why they shouldn't be able to give their babies the most amazing start in life with clean, mean, glorious breast milk," the actress wrote on her blog.

"And because we are a community of beautiful souls who recognize the importance of food as health, I say we help support those mamas and babies who need a hand during one of the most important times in their lives."

Silverstone is mom to 2-year-old, Bear Blue, with rock star Christopher Jarecki. The "Vamp" star has been heavily criticized for her vegan way of life, especially after a video surfaced of her pre-chewing food and then feeding her son like a bird.
