As reported by IBT.com , Alicia Machado, the 1996 winner of Miss Universe pageant, representing Venezuela, is back in the news, thanks to a name-drop by Hillary Clinton during last night's presential debate. It is alleged that Machado suffered insults from Trump after she gained weight. Twenty years on, Ms. Machado is now a well-known actress throughout Latin America. It got us thinking about other famous Latinas who were once beauty queens.
