Alicia Machado is one of the most successful former Miss Universe winners. The Venezuelan beauty has been a staple in telenovelas in México participating in productions like "Infierno En El Paraíso," "Una Familia Con Suerte" and most recently "Lo Imperdonable." Machado is taking on a new challenge and moving to Hollywood after 20 years of successful career in Latin America. With over 3 million followers on her social media, Alicia has already scored two major projects and already being called "the new Sofia Vergara."
Alicia was recently interviewed by The New York Times and Washington Post. Both articles are due in the next two weeks, and has signed up a major book deal with one of the main US publishers soon to be announced. Machado is currently on location in Spain, filming the international film 'Juan Apostle: El Más Amado," and eager to return to her new home in Los Angeles, to start her new television projects, where we will all fall in love and laugh with this Latina bombshell, ready to prove that she is the next real woman with curves and talent.
Alicia Machado held the Miss Universe crown in 1996 and worked closely with Donald Trump. With the rise in popularity of the latter due to his presidential run, Alicia has been a good insight into how the politician is behind closed doors. "It was a harsh year for me," she recounts. "I was Trump's first Miss Universe right when he bought the contest, and things did not turn out pretty. I wouldn't trust him with my daughter, neither with my country."
One of the reasons we love Alicia Machado is because she's a strong woman that doesn't hold back. Years ago she was linked to Mexican singer Luis Miguel and had some insight about his manhood. During a game on "Rica La Noche," Luzelba Mansour picked a small sausage to represent Luis Miguel's penis size and said, "he's a small man, handsome, but not too significant and by looking at Alicia's face...." The attention then turned to the former Miss Universe to deny or confirm what Luzelba was saying. She asked, "who needs to drink the shot." Joyce answered, "if she [Mansour] is right, you take the shot." Then Alicia takes the shot, suggesting Luis Miguel is not well endowed.
Recently, Alicia Machado shared a photo with Quentin Tarantino which sparked rumors that she would be working with him on his next project. “Great things happening. Hollywood is good to me. A pleasure and an honor to meet you, blessings!” she captioned the photo. It's an exciting time to be Alicia Machado right now and we are sure many positive things will come her way in the next couple of years.
