Alex Rodriguez Not Furious Over Jennifer Lopez And Ryan Seacrest's ‘Closeness’

Jennifer Lopez and Ryan Seacrest have known each other for years. But there have been recent claims that their friendship is making Alex Rodriguez furious.

A tabloid recently claimed that Rodriguez is not happy with Lopez and Seacrest’s closeness, especially since the latter is newly single. An unnamed source told the tabloid that the former “American Idol” co-stars have been inseparable, and they also realized that they share a lot of things in common.

“Ryan’s earned [Lopez’s] respect and they feel they should stick together, much to Alex’s dismay,” the unnamed source allegedly said. But according to the rumor-debunking site Gossip Cop, there’s no truth to the claims.

The fact that the tabloid was unable to reveal the name of their insider suggests that they may have just fabricated their story. The publication also spoke with Lopez’s rep, who denied that there’s an issue between Lopez and her fiancé because of Seacrest.

In fact, Lopez and Seacrest’s closeness has never been a problem for Rodriguez. The former baseball player has also met Seacrest a couple of times, and they have also hung out together with Lopez.

Gossip Cop also revealed that the rumor wasn’t the first fake story that the tabloid released about Rodriguez. Months ago, the MLB star was also rumored to be upset with his fiancée’s steamy scenes in her upcoming movie “Hustlers.” In the project, Lopez plays the role of a stripper.

In April, the same tabloid claimed that Lopez was dumping Rodriguez. This was, of course, incorrect since the couple is still together until today. Lopez and Rodriguez also just got engaged one month before the fake breakup story was released.

Two months after their engagement, Lopez spoke with Savannah Guthrie on “Monday Morning,” where she said that she had always planned to get married again. “I want to spend my life with somebody,” she said. “I want to grow old with somebody. I think that’s the goal, right? To find a partner to kind of walk through this crazy thing with,” she added.

Lopez was married to Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998. She also wed Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003. And her last marriage was to Marc Anthony, from 2004 to 2014.
