Alejandro Fernández Gay? Mexican Singer Questioned After Instagram Post Goes Viral

Alejandro Fernández has always exuded masculinity, being one of the most celebrated ranchero singers. The Mexican artist also loves fashion, fitness and looking good. In an Instagram post this week, Fernández shared a selfie with his followers that shows the singer with shades on inside an elevator and sporting a chic white coat. He later shared another one in the same outfit, but this time in front of his vehicle.

It did not take long before the post went viral and people on social media started questionong his sexuality. Social media users were quick to create memes and showcase Fernández side by side with female celebrities wearing a similar coat like Jennifer Lopez, Miranda Cosgrove and Miley Cyrus. Fernández was called names and referred to with female pronouns.

Fernández is a fashion risk taker and has pushed the boundaries. He has not always hit the mark and committed major crimes in the fashion world like one time he wore a horrible pink shirt with a deep-V neckline. He accessorized this with a scarf, a beanie over his head, and a peppered beard. It is fair game to make criticism about the outfit, but when the attacks are personal, that is where the line should not be crossed. What do you think?
