
After news broke that Alan Rickman passed away from cancer, celebrities have been taking to their twitter and social media accounts to pay their respects. His family said in a statement: “The actor and director Alan Rickman has died from cancer at the age of 69. He was surrounded by family and friends.” He's best known for his roles as Severus Snape in "Harry Potter" movies, Hans Gruber in "Die Hard" and the Sheriff Of Nottingham in "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves."
