A rivalry that continues to grow with each passing season, there may be no better annual showdown in college football better than Alabama vs. LSU. The Crimson Tide and Tigers have played some of the most entertaining games in recent time and even though the Tide have won the last two meetings against their SEC rivals and currently sit as the No. 1 ranked team in the country, the Tigers (7-2 overall, 3-2 SEC) are certainly capable of taking down Nick Saban and Alabama. LSU head coach Les Miles says getting his team ready for this game is easy because players go to schools like LSU and Alabama to play in big time national contests.

"I can tell you that our guys are in college football for these kind of games," Miles said. "We look forward to playing in them. It's a great opportunity for all. Any time you line up against Alabama, there's a rivalry. There's national prestige. I think the greatest compliment that we can pay an opponent is our best efforts, and certainly Alabama will get that. It's a game that comes down to the guys that play in between the lines and I think our guys will step in between those lines and compete."

Alabama upended LSU last season in Baton Rouge thanks to a 28-yard catch and run touchdown by T.J. Yeldon with 51 seconds remaining. The 21-17 victory helped propel Alabama to their second-straight BCS National Championship and even though this year's match-up will be the fourth-straight with each team ranked in the Top 10 of the Associated Press poll, quarterback A.J. McCarron says the focus for his Alabama team is simply on just doing their jobs and not worrying about anything else.

"I'm not thinking about everybody else," McCarron said. "I could care less about what their record is. It's no disrespect to them. They're all having great seasons, but we're worried about us and what we need to do to take care of business."
