Hackers infiltrated the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), displaying an AI-generated video of President Donald Trump kissing Elon Musk's feet in the Oval Office alongside the message, "LONG LIVE THE REAL KING."

The hack took place Monday morning amid growing controversy over the Trump administration's proposed cuts to HUD, which would eliminate around 4,000 federal jobs, MeidasTouch Network reported.

The displayed message appears to reference Trump's recent "Long live the king" remark regarding his decision to end congestion pricing in New York City. Additionally, the message targets a growing speculation about Musk's influence over the administration.

The video played for a short time before officials managed to remove it. Despite quick action, the footage spread online, fueling debates over whether the hack was an internal protest by a HUD employee or an external cyberattack.

The administration has not identified any suspects. Federal investigators have launched a probe into the breach, assessing whether it poses a broader cybersecurity risk.

Meanwhile, the video has intensified scrutiny over Musk's involvement in government affairs, especially as his DOGE-led cost-cutting measures continue to impact major agencies.
