Attorney General Pam Bondi is getting heat online after announcing that people protesting Elon Musk's role in the Trump administration will be severely prosecuted.
"If you're going to touch a Tesla, go to a dealership, do anything, you better watch out, because we're coming after you," Bondi said in an interview with Fox Business.

The warning comes after law enforcement said it was investigating a series of attacks on Tesla showrooms, charging stations and dealerships across the country. CNN detailed that while most protests have been peaceful, there have been incidents involving vandalism.
In fact, Bondi said an arrest was made after a person threw a Molotov cocktail at a showroom. "They're looking at up to 20 years in prison," Bondi added in the Fox Business interview.
However, many on the internet criticized the attorney general for vowing to protect Muks's company, with many criticizing that the company is getting protection from the upper echelons of the government.
