It has been two months since Irina Shayk announced her split from Bradley Cooper allegedly because of Lady Gaga, but the Russian model is still not ready to date someone new. Although she and Cooper have remained on friendly terms since their split, Shayk admits that she needs more time to heal before she enters into a relationship again.

A couple of weeks ago, Shayk said in an interview that even though she and Cooper never married, she still believes in marriage. That’s why considering the four long years that she and Cooper had been together, it’s understandable that Shayk is not rushing into anything anytime soon. “I’m not the kind of person who is against it,” she said when asked about the prospect of marriage.

According to recent reports, Irina Shayk does not plan on dating anyone at the moment as she wants to focus on her child. And while she’s open to meeting someone new someday, it won’t happen in the near future.

“Irina isn’t dating anyone at the moment,” a source revealed. “She’s focused on her daughter and spending time with her. She would like to meet someone in the future, but it’s not a priority at the moment,” the source added.

Other sources also revealed that Shayk has been working nonstop after the breakup. Her healing process involves keeping herself busy with work while she looks after her two-year-old daughter, Lea de Seine. “She just got out of a long-term relationship and wants to take time to heal,” the source said.

When it comes to her relationship with Cooper, friends of the former couple revealed that they are very much in good terms. Both Shayk and Cooper have reportedly agreed to split custody of Lea, and both will live in New York City for the sake of their child. According to a source, having a plan in place for their little girl was very important for the ex-couple after their split as they wanted to keep Lea’s routine and schedule as consistent as it was before they parted ways.

Cooper and Shayk ended their four-year relationship in June following the romance rumors linking Cooper to Lady Gaga. Cooper and Lady Gaga starred together in “A Star Is Born,” and their onscreen chemistry has led to speculations that the two actually fell in love on the set of the film.
