HBO Max ingenue Chloe Cherry has revealed that following her transition from sex flicks to major studio productions, she hasn’t noticed any dissimilarities between performing in these two different platforms.
The Pennsylvania native, 24, stars alongside Emmy winner Zendaya, 25, in the newest season of the illicit substance- and sex-fueled drama, “Euphoria” as Cluster's “elusive” girlfriend Faye.
Before stealing the show on mainstream TV with her hilarious line deliveries, she starred in the mock erotica inspired by a steamy exchange between Zendaya’s character, Rue, and Hunter Schafer’s Jules, the New York Post reported.
“My friend and I, who’s also an adult movie star, we were both huge fans of the show and we thought that that one scene [with Rue and Jules] was just so beautiful,” Cherry said.
“When you’re making a porn parody, the best way to make them is scenes like that, where they’re already insinuating that sex is about to happen,” she continued. “So that’s usually what people would want to see in terms of a porn parody. Fans really, really liked it. They thought it was awesome.”
Cherry began her acting career in the adult film industry in 2015, aged 18; and has since shot 172 movies, according to The Sun.
Director Sam Levinson cherry-picked the blonde beauty to join the show’s star-studded cast for Season 2. She would credit her on-camera experience in the adult movie industry, which she said allowed her to improvise some of her most iconic dialogues.
“A lot of those lines, like the line of, ‘You’re probably eating that ginger’s ass for oxys,’ that I improvised,” she said.
“I was really glad that people liked that [line],” she added. “I’m just so happy to make people happy. I’m so glad that people like Faye. It makes me so happy.”
Chloe has also opened up about working with the “Spiderman” franchise actress, noting she enjoyed how “normal and chill” the Hollywood A-lister is, who she described as someone who liked good memes. Accordingly, the up-and-coming actress praised Zendaya for being relatable and aspirational, PopBuzz noted.
