Adriana Fonseca is a famed telenovela actress that has been part of hits like “Corazón Valiente” and “Rosalinda.” As of like the Mexican star has been looking for an opportunity in Hollywood to make a crossover and continue growing. It seems like she has not had a great experience and recently took to social media to share a heartbreaking moment that left her in tears.
“I'm opening my heart,” she said in a statement posted on Instagram. “Today I lived a horrible experience. I had a casting for a commercial, with some lines in English, which I was prepare... The guy on the camera asked for my name, I said it and he told me to leave the room, he didn't let me say my lines and spoke with me in a rude way in front of many people, telling me that I had a ‘thick accent’ just because he heard my name... OMG I'm speaking, although I always prefer to be reserved; because this kind of things happen every day.”
She closed off the statement with the following words of encouragement: “May God bless that man and forgive him, but in the name of all Latinos and other cultures [in the U.S.], I can only say that this makes us stronger, whether they like it or not.” Watch Adriana Fonseca’s emotional recount of her humiliating moment below and tell us what you think!
